Program Overview & Length
Our Cyber Security program is designed to prepare you for a career as a network security analyst in the business world by combining online classes with hands-on training using virtual desktops on some of the most current computer security software.
As a network security analyst, you can be a vital part of an IT team and help provide protection to an organization’s computer networks and systems. Our online program grants an Associates Degree and covers training that will allow you to sit for industry-recognized certifications, such as the CompTIA A+ Essentials Certification.
This program can be completed in as little as 20 months (80 weeks).

Network Security Analyst Professional Requirements
In order to enroll in the Cyber Security program at Platt College, you need to have obtained your high school diploma or GED. Basic skills in math and science are a plus. You will also be required to pass the CompTIA A+ Essentials Certification and CompTIA A+ Practical Exams in order to pass and receive your degree. Other security certificates, such as the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), may be required by an employer.
